In the wonderful world of social media there is much to learn. Sure, here at the theatre we are Facebooking, Myspacing, blogging, vlogging, twittering, texting, whew- you name it, we do it! We have yet to figure it ALL out and are still being educated daily. Katie and I attended Visit Jacksonville's Social Media Workshop yesterday led by one of our very own Florida Theatre board members, Lyndsay Rossman! Lyndsay and her co-worker Jennifer Bryant, enlightened a room of about 100 plus people to the complicated yet important social media world. It was great to see one of our board members at work! Often we see our board at meetings, shows and events- but rarely in their element.

The Florida Theatre board is made up of so many unique individuals, all with something different to bring to the table. We are truly blessed to have the dedicated group of people that we do here working with us to have one of the best entertainment and cultural venues in Jacksonville.
