FOR PET INSPIRED ARTISTS, NON-PROFIT RESCUE GROUPS,
DOG WALKING SERVICES, TRAINERS, AND KENNELS, ETC

FOR THE 4TH ANNUAL PETWALK AT THE FLORIDA THEATRE, AUG. 5, 5-8PM 

Pet Friends!

The 4th Annual Pet Walk sponsored by PetGuard is gearing up for another stellar Art Walk event at the historic Florida Theatre on August 5 from 5-8pm.  If you are interested in participating please email us at, toni@floridatheatre.com , no later than July 1. No phone calls please.  

 

Highlights

- We are seeking a feature position for the Art Walk (over 40 venues participate).

- Tons of free print/online advertising AT NO COST TO YOU!

- The event will promote pet health, pet art, pet adoptions, and pet safety.

- PetGuard is the sponsor and will provide yummy organic treats & health information.

- There will be a special awards ceremony for Mr. & Mrs. Florida Theatre, Best Feline, Best Tricks, Pet Guardian Look Alike, and Best Adoption Story.

- There will be several rescue groups on-site to help recruit volunteers for their organizations and promote pet adoption.

- All pets/owners are welcome inside the theatre and to use the park across the street (please curb your pet).

- Art Walk participants have more than doubled each year during Pet Walk, last year we had over 1,000 ppl and more than 300 pets.

- Downtown Vision fully supports this event and will provide Ambassadors to direct walkers to our space and public green areas.

- Water and ice will be provided for our thirsty friends.

- Please note not all venues on Art Walk participate in this pet-friendly event.

 

For your consideration

- We will be using indoor and outdoor space around the theatre.

-if you are bringing multiple pets we will likely place you outside for prime viewing and exposure (under the marquee!).

- If you have a tent, bring it and hang your banner!

- Please make sure you clean-up after your pets and bring supplies.

- If you have barkers, we will kindly ask you keep them outside.

- If you have marketing materials, please bring it (i.e. banners, postcards, flyers, business cards, informational materials).

 

Set-up

- Artists & rescue groups should arrive at 4pm for placement (up to the discretion of the Florida Theatre staff).

- Must be ready by 5pm!!!

- Please unload under the marquee and have someone stay with your car or park it.

- We have no reserved parking, but there are plenty of spots on the street.

- We do have some tables and chairs, and will need requested in advance. We do not provide linens.

- Please provide your own easels and staff for your area (we can not put anything on the walls and have limited power).

- All items must be moved out by 8pm.

- If you sell art, you keep all the profit!
