Rules and Information TICKET PURCHASE: The Florida Theatre Ticket Office accepts cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards as payment for Florida Theatre events. Personal checks, with proper identification, may be accepted at the discretion of the Ticket Office Manager two weeks or more prior to an event. Cash only is accepted as payment for non-Florida Theatre event tickets. Photo identification is required for pick up of tickets purchased by telephone. Tickets may not be exchanged or refunded. PARKING: Secure covered patron parking is available in the Yates Parking Garage on the corner of Adams and Newnan Streets, one block from the Theatre. Please note that the garage entrance is on Adams Street. Several private surface parking lots are also locatedwithin a block of the theatre. Rates vary. SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: Wheelchair seating locations are available upon request from the Theatre Ticket Office. Patrons with special needs are encouraged to contact the Ticket Office Manager in advance. Please inquire at the House Manager’s office for use of our listening devices for the hearing-impaired. FOOD AND BEVERAGES: Beverage service is available in the lobbies before performances and during intermissions. Florida law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors. Nofoodor beverages may be brought into the auditorium. SMOKING: The Florida Theatre is a smoke-free facility. RESTROOMS: Public restrooms are located in the entry lobby and on the mezzanine and balcony levels. TELEPHONES: Courtesy telephones are located at the south end of the first floor lobby. Emergency calls may be received in the House Manager’s office, (904) 356-7045. As a courtesy to other patrons, please disconnect electronic paging devices and turn off cellular telephones or leave them with the House Manager with your name and seating location. PERSONAL PROPERTY: We regret that the management cannot be responsible for patrons’ personal apparel or property. Lost and found inquiries may be directed to the House Manager, (904) 356-7045. LATECOMERS: Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Theatre management during appropriate pauses in the program. Florida Theatre policy is to begin performances at the advertised curtain time. A television monitor is available in the entry lobby. CHILDREN: Children under five years of age will generally not be permitted in the Theatre except for programs specifically for young audiences. PHOTOGRAPHS AND RECORDING: Cameras and recording devices may not be brought into the Theatre without the consent of The Florida Theatre management. FIRE NOTICE: The red exit sign nearest the seat you occupy is the shortest route to the street in the event of fire or other emergency. Please follow the instructions of ushers or other Florida Theatre personnel.
