Event Details
During one of the darkest periods of American History, thousands of enslaved people undertook a harrowing journey to find freedom. That story comes to life in Heroes of the Underground Railroad. This play highlights several of the heroic stories of the brave men and women who dared to escape slavery, and the abolitionists who risked everything to aid them along the way. Your audiences will be amazed at the heroics of Harriet Tubman, Henry “Box” Brown, Frederick Douglass, Levi Coffin, and John Parker in this incredible show of true American Heroes.

Parking
The Yates Building Garage at 200 E Adams Street is the preferred parking facility of the Florida Theatre. From the Theatre, turn left on Newnan Street and right on Adams and the garage entrance is on the right. The garage is just a block from the Theatre, well-lighted, staffed, and monitored by security cameras, and more affordable than other parking lots in the area.
Please carefully review the signage in each parking lot or garage. Some facilities are attended, but some facilities require you to pay using an app or kiosk.
There are accessible street parking spaces across the street from the theatre, and all the parking lots have accessible spaces as well.
The Florida Theatre does not have its own parking lot.
