SPACE ODDITY, The Quintessential David Bowie Tribute
Experience is a live, theatrically staged, elaborately-costumed multi-media
spectacle that transports audiences on a musical journey through the constantly
metamorphosing career of David Bowie which was notable for constant reinvention
and visual presentation in both his music and on stage.
Over the last 20 years, SPACE ODDITY, starring David Brighton, has performed
throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Finland, Germany, Estonia,
Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Portugal,
Israel, New Zealand and China and is widely considered to be the world's premier
tribute to David Bowie.
This full scale stage production is complete with flamboyant costume changes,
elaborate staging, perfectly emulated vocal stylings and one of the best backing
bands in the business. All of the many faces David Bowie are present… from
stadium-sized pop phenomenon, to space-age rock and roll alien Ziggy Stardust…
and so is the excitement and electricity.

Parking
The Yates Building Garage is the preferred parking facility of the Florida Theatre. The Yates garage is visible across the Forsyth and Newnan Streets intersection from the Florida Theatre, but the garage entrance is behind the building at 200 East Adams Street. (Drive past the theatre on your right, across Newnan Street, past the Yates Building on your left, make a left on North Market Street and a left on Adams Street.) The Yates Garage is well lighted, staffed, and is monitored by security cameras.
